ATLANTA – February 13, 2025 – The Georgia Council of Chiropractic (GCC) celebrates the appointment of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services. His appointment marks a pivotal moment in the advancement of health freedom, patient choice, and a balanced approach to public health policy.
Kennedy has long been a prominent advocate for individual rights in healthcare and has dedicated his career to fostering transparency and accountability within the medical and pharmaceutical industries. Through his work as an environmental lawyer and founder of Children's Health Defense, he has championed causes aimed at protecting public health while defending the freedoms that underpin our democracy.
His commitment to informed consent and his tireless efforts to address vaccine safety have resonated deeply with communities seeking to preserve their right to make personal health decisions. His work reflects the core principles of patient autonomy and bodily sovereignty—values shared by the Georgia Council of Chiropractic and its members.
"Mr. Kennedy Jr.'s appointment is a significant step toward a healthcare system that prioritizes individual choice and transparency," said Dr. Daniel Tew, President of the Georgia Council of Chiropractic. "We are confident that his leadership will pave the way for protecting the rights of Americans to make informed decisions about their health and the care they receive."
The GCC was formed in 1982 through the vision of Dr Sid Williams to fill the need for an organization to promote, protect, and perpetuate principled, subluxation based chiropractic in the state of Georgia. We are proud to continue serving the citizens and chiropractors of Georgia through our many programs, services, and other resources.
